After entirely too many trials and tribulations, we have finally released the full and complete Valor: the Heroic Roleplay system with all changes and updates! Additionally we have released Best in Class to backers who supported that project as well! Thank you so much again for sticking with us in the face of our major design issues, our new designer is tremendous and was instrumental in getting this out.
We're finalizing our quote with the printer and will have more updates on timeline soon for the final printing, we will provide another update when we have more information!

Hello everyone, we've been working with our new designer to wrap up the file and we have good news! The finalized file is expected to be delivered to us this week. Once we've had a chance to review it, we will be releasing the fully updated digital file of Valor: the Heroic Roleplaying system to all backers as well as sending it out to the printer. We will provide an update once we have a confirmed printer date, as well as when all of the files have been sent out but we are very close!
Additionally, I'm thrilled to announce that we've completed the Beta edition of our Character Builder! If you missed it in our Best in Class Kickstarter, you can access the Beta from our itch.io page! The character builder contains all skill and technique information and is perfect for building characters quickly in the system. This will eventually be updated to include a controlled randomized generator to make NPC generation much easier as well, our hope is that this will make running Valor games much easier and will help people move away from being required to use Roll20.
Design Update and Timeline

Hello everyone! Thank you again for your patience on this one, we've finally managed to secure a designer and timeline for completion.
We are currently looking at a completed design update by the end of March, which will be immediately released to all Backers. We'll be looking to release the old stripped down design on Backerkit today which will contain the finalized text so people can look through and capture any other changes. If you do find some issue with the text, we'll be able to accept changes until the 28th of February. You are welcome to message us here or send them to [email protected] with the email header VALOR CORE EDITS.
Once the file is updated, we'll be sending it to the printer which means we'll probably have the books Stateside and mailing out in either July or August. Thanks again for all of the support and patience with us, our hope is that with this new designer engaged we can prevent this issue from reoccurring in the future.
Backerkit Surveys out! Update on file and printing

Hey everyone, I wanted to give you an update on where we stand. There's some good, some bad, but we're working to resolve the bad so hopefully we can get this figured out.
So, first off, regarding the design. The final design that was submitted unfortunately didn't meet our standards and we're not really able to get anything more out of the designer due to communication issues. While the document was completed and in a clean format, all of our design style that made our book visually distinctive was gutted from it and it seems the designer had no real intention to pull it in. We're exploring other avenues, currently we think we can get this done in about a month or two if all goes well so more to come on that.
That said, we do have the final submitted document by the designer as a stopgap, we've released the Backerkit surveys. Once those are finalized we'll at least get the designer-completed document submitted so folks can look through and have the full and complete rules. We'll have some latitude to make changes if anything is identified, so if you see anything amiss please message us here or email us at [email protected] with the subject header VALOR BOOK NOTES.
Again I apologize for this delay and these issues, it seemed like everything was running smoothly, up until it wasn't. In the interim, as the design completes we're also drafting out the Foes book so we can get that out to Backers as well. Once we have the design finalized we'll have more information on printing timelines. Thank you again for your support and please complete your surveys! Update on Book - Better News!

Better news everybody! We have managed to break through the communication issues and are again working with our designer, who has furnished a near-complete copy of the Digital edition lacking only the final terms and legal pages. We've sent our project for review in Backerkit which still has not yet completed, but once that is complete we will release either this document or the finalized digital document, whichever comes first. Our designer is working to complete the print and PDF versions which will go out as soon as possible. I've got a quote set up and ready to go with the printer so as soon as I get my hands on the print PDF we will be sending it forward to begin the process.
I won't promise anything until we have the documents in our hands but my HOPE is that we'll have this fully complete and put to bed within the next few days. I'll let you all know as soon as everything is squared away.
